Prerequisites

Enabling the Console Okta SSO integration will allow users to login to Console through their Okta account. Users must be added to the Okta Console application in order to login, and invited to the Console app through the organization members configuration page.

Configuration Steps

Install the Console App

1. Login to the Okta Admin Console

2. Install the Console SSO App by searching “Console” in the app catalog

   

App Client Configuration

Once the app is installed, copy the following

1. Client ID
2. Your Okta Domain
3. Generate a Client Secret and copy that

Okta Initialization URL

When provisioning a Console organization, a Console team member will provide you with an “initialization URL” that will look like this: https://app.console.co/initialize/XXXXXXXX

This is an anonymous URL generated for your account that can be used to configure your Okta settings.
